had a great time at a hostel in Katowice. Centrum exceeded my expectations with its friendly staff, early check-in, and quiet bedroom. Amazing value for money and just a short walk from the station. Far better than my previous stay in the city.

The location of the hostel is excellent, just a short 5-minute walk from the main station. This makes it very convenient for families with children, as it saves time and energy when exploring the city. the receptionists are also very helpful and friendly, providing assistance even when guests miss the check-out time. Another positive aspect is the clean and comfortable showers, ensuring a pleasant experience. the option to use the luggage store for several hours is a great feature, allowing families to safely store their belongings.
One negative aspect is the lack of fresh air in the room, which may be attributed to the hot weather outside. this can be easily mitigated by opening windows or using fans, if available.

They even speak English, which is a plus for international travelers. Another great feature is the availability of private lockers in each room, ensuring the safety of your valuables while you explore the city. My shared room had clean and tidy bed utensils. the floor was mopped, although it could have been cleaner. Despite being on the side of the street, the nighttime traffic noise was tolerable. the bathrooms had hot water available at all times. There was a small kitchen niche with complimentary coffee and tea, as well as a stove for basic cooking. the service was good and the receptionists were friendly. I found it to be a good price/value ratio. Cons: Nothing, it was perfect! 😊.

The hostel had a great location, only a short walk from the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing assistance when needed. The wifi connection was reliable.
The cleanliness of the hostel was lacking, with poor quality sheets and towels provided. The smoking policy allowed for smoking on the balcony, which made the air inside the room unpleasant.

Stayed at this hostel Centrum for one night between trains and it was the perfect location. Right next to the main station, check-in was easy and the staff were friendly. The receptionists were helpful even though my friend and I missed the check-out time. There is a luggage store available for a few hours, which was really convenient. The showers were clean and comfortable to use. The best part is that it's just a 5-minute walk from the main station. Great for students and anyone looking for a convenient place to stay in the city.
Couldn't stay longer 😔

The bathroom facilities could use some attention, particularly on the second floor.

The location of the hostel is extremely convenient, being close to the railway and bus station. This made it easy for me to get around the city and explore different areas. the bathrooms were also kept very clean, which I appreciated. It's always nice to have a tidy and well-maintained facility when you're staying away from home. Lastly, the staff at the hostel were friendly and accommodating, making my stay a pleasant one.
There were a few aspects of my stay that were disappointing. the mattresses in the rooms were quite thin and worn out, which made it difficult to get a comfortable night's sleep.
